Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at  if you cannot find an answer to your question.

The frequency depends on several factors. Inground gardens need approximately one inch of water a week. If it is raining that much, you are covered. Pots need to be monitored as they dry out more quickly. In the heat of a Georgia summer, I water every other day. To help with water retention, mulch, mulch and then add a little mulch.

The answer everyone hates...it depends. Here is how to determine when to plant your fall garden. Find your average first frost date. Google your zip code or city. I suggest planting your fall crops approximately six weeks before that average first frost. Example. My average first frost is Nov 7. I plan to have my brassicas in the ground roughly September 15th.

Yes, we normally have starts in the spring by mid-March. We will have starts for the fall garden by first of September.
